I had the pleasure of participating in a local holiday pop-up last weekend. The location of the event was a great earth-friendly shop. My family has been shopping with them for years and years now. We had a good turn out. I had such a great time getting to know and talking with the other makers, too!
I had my new series of colored pencil figurative works on display as well as my Tea Drawings series. The mini watercolors are always a hit. Many people took home sketches and I sold one of my favorite drawings from the Tea series to a favorite patron. It is important to me to have affordable work available. I want people to be able to take an original work home with them even if they can't afford the larger pieces.
I really appreciate everyone's kind words and excitement over the work. I pour my heart and soul into my artwork and It makes me so happy to see my pieces off to their new homes! Hoping for more pop-ups, markets, and art events in 2023!!
