This internal conditioned pressure and performance combined with the discipline of women is what my work is in protest of. Here is a small smattering of the art I've made while contemplating the complexities of womanhood in patriarchy. Covering everything from sexual pleasure, birth, motherhood taboos, the body, menstruation, and beyond!
