Today in the studio, I am prepping for summer art markets, fall shows, and working on some new ideas. I'm continuing to add to my Tea Drawings. This series brings me such heart centered peace. So I am sitting here after a productive studio day, and I thought I would share a few things here on the blog.
I've just done a recent refresh of my paintbrushes and paints. I splurged big time! (Thank goddess for sales!) Many of my brushes are old and beat up (they are from a time where I wasn't really taking care of my artist tools). I feel so happy with my all-new brushes and I am ready to start new projects with them.
I had a great time at Grounded showing my colored pencil figurative drawings. I sold a few and had a great time at the artist reception. I also had one of my Tea Drawings on display in Winona, MN. That piece went home with a fellow artist.
I also became an internationally shown artist last month! A painting that means a lot to me was on display in London for the Pro Create Project.
I am planning and manifesting many things for the rest of the year. I keep saying it but, I AM PAINTING LARGE SCALE this summer! I have almost everything I need in order to do that. This summer I hope to do a few art markets as well.
So that's what's buzzing around in my head today as I sit here covered in paint, charcoal, and pencil smudges. Thanks for checking in!
